2023 PMTM Holiday Viewing Guide – December 1

In an effort to spread a little peace, love and joy this holiday season, I’ve compiled a list of wrestling matches and moments as my gift to you, the absolute none of you who know this site exists.

From now until Christmas Day, I will post a daily match, interview or happening (and maybe a stocking stuffer or two) that brings me great joy and that YOU should go out of your way to watch. The absurd, the terrible, the incredible – we’re going to see a little bit of everything with this one. Consider it your own little rasslin’ advent calendar.

We’re kicking things off with a big boy matchup that’s sure to fill you full of festive fervor:

The Steiner Brothers vs. Big Van Vader and Mr. Hughes (WCW Clash of the Champions XVIII: January 21, 1992)

Buddy, if you love seeing folks get tossed from one side of the ring to the next, this is for you. Long one of my favorite comfort-watching matches, this bad boy clocks in at around 9 minutes and is pretty much all action. Hughes and Vader bump like crazy for The Steiners in the opener to a Clash that features several great matches.

I really wish more matches were like this – short and sweet with little to no filler. Go watch this and then thank me for the holiday blessing.
