Andre the Giant and Giant Baba vs. The Land of the Giants (All Japan Pro Wrestling: November 25, 1990)

A true mat classic!

Keeping this weekend giant-sized, I give you the gift of two of wrestling’s greatest — though far past their primes — giants (Andre and Baba) taking on two of the sport’s not-so-greatest (Butch Masters and Skywalker Nitron) in the 1990 AJPW Real World Tag League.

The crowd hates Nitron (AKA Big Sky/Tyler Mane) and Masters (AKA Giant Warrior) and for good reason — they have absolutely NOTHING going for them other than their height. Nitron is especially bad here, with some of the weakest offense you’ll ever see. I guess it’s a good thing he took up acting and found a second career.

Baba is far and away the best of the bunch at this time, as Andre is practically immobile. Just an all-time stinker of a match.
