Meet The Panama Gang (Championship Wrestling from Florida: 1984)

The One Man Gang is a guy who was never afraid to freshen up his character a bit with a new look (though I doubt he ever envisioned his “transformation” into Akeem “The African Dream” in 1988).

While The Gang sported several different styles in his career, nothing beats this look from Championship Wrestling from Florida in 1984.

After having his leg broken by Dusty Rhodes’ figure four leglock, The Gang adopted a new moniker, got himself a new getup and became Florida’s #1 manager while he recovered. Behold, The Panama Gang!

It’s a shame he didn’t stick with this look, because the big fella really had something here.
