Bobby Fulton gets a Headache (World Championship Wrestling: June 4, 1988)

In advance of their United States Tag Team Title defense against The Midnight Express at the upcoming Great American Bash pay-per-view, The Fantastics have a little demonstration for the audience.

Tired of Jim Cornette’s interference in their matches, Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers want to neutralize him with a straitjacket and very stupidly demonstrate how one works.

Predictably (just as they had done in Mid-South Wrestling in 1984 in the exact same angle with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express), Cornette and the Midnights pounce. Bobby Eaton proceeds to absolutely drill Fulton — who is all tied up — with a chair. You didn’t see many chair shots like this in 1988. Watch at the link below.
